I don't know about you, but i love Ninjas! I am going to tell you a story of how it all started..
Last summer, my friend Kelsey practically lived at my house we were so close. We would do everything together!
My house lives on a hill and the backyard is at a total slant. There is a fence cutting off the ancore long back yard that is so steep it is almost vertical. Another thing about my backyard is that it is covered with trees, bugs, and plants. There is only one opening to go to the back yard.
Kelsey and I decided to go into my backyard to explore. We walked up and down the hill with great difficultly but we still had a good time. As we were walking up the hill, Kelsey saw something in the corner of her eye. "Look its a rope!" I quickly turned my head. There was a rope tied to the top of the fence. She started walking up the steep hill towards it. Kelsey grabbed a hold of it and started climbing up the hill and quicklly hopped the fence. I was amazed how well and fast she did it! I yelled, "Kelsey you are a ******* NINJA!" She started laughing and soon I joined in. "Go Ninja! Go Ninja! Go!" she chanted. I followed her and repeated her same movements but without as much perfection. We walked into the house chanting it together and thats where it all began.
Kelsey and I decided that day that we wanted to continue being ninjas. She had once showed me this Mcdonalds' Rap on Youtube and we both had it memorized. Why not make up a ninja dance to that? We started that day making up a routine while changing some of the words in the rap to improve it and make it more ninja style. By the end of that day when we had it perfected and memorized, my sister 15 year old sister Christen got home from work. We exitedly showed her our routine. She looked at us and said, "You guys are losers." We all laughed together. Kelsey and I both knew she was just jealous of our ninja moves! :)

Emma!
The cell phone rang repeatedly as I ran to answer. I heard a familiar and unique laugh on the other end. It was the unmistakable Emma! She started her story. Was she or was she not coming over this weekend to stay at my house while her dad was in Connecticut? I ran up the stairs to find one of my parents. “Of course she can!” my father said in his deep and creepy voice. I raced back down the stairs to my phone trying not to stumble over my larger then normal feet. I responded to her questions and she gave me another series of her laugh with delight. Emma would be staying at my house all weekend!
I got yet another call on my phone telling me to come outside. I ran out on the wet sidewalk in my bare feet to greet her. A large grin lay in front of me belonging to Mr. Perkins who was helping Emma get her baggage. Our eyes met and she gave me one of what she calls her, “God given talents.” She scrunched up her face in such a way no one can describe or repeat (trust me I have tried)! I giggle and give her a hug. While our parents are talking, Emma runs to greet my sister and gives her the same face expression she gave me. I showed her my room and how it has changed since she was here last. We both jumped on my brand new queen size bed. We looked at each other and knew that this weekend was going to be a never ending disaster of fun!
We both turned on our Nintendo DS and started a game against each other. This is where things started to get intense... We stared screaming at each other and laughing so hard that we couldn’t breathe. In the game, whoever got ten stars first would win, or if you lost all five lives the other person would automatically win. There were things to prevent you from winning so easily of course. You could steal stars from the other person with fireballs or if you died you would lose a star. This game is seriously addicting and I think it could easily lead to a fight. For example, Emma got so pissed that I was winning her so much, she screamed at me from the other room and said, “This is enough!” (I edited what she said and made it more appropriate) She ran into my room screaming at me, jumped on my bed, and tackled me! It was mega funny and terrifying all at the same time!

Hawaii
In fourth grade, I went to Hawaii on a vacation and if I remember correctly it was around spring break and we went for two weeks.
On the plane ride there, I remember eating really, really good ginger ale and lasagna. I was surprised how good airplane food was to me. I couldn't get enought of it! The plane we were on was really nice and I loved looking out the window and watching the ocean.
We went to Kauai on this trip and it was amazingly beautiful there. We stayed at a little hotel right near the beach so we could go anytime we wanted to. We went to a luau one night and I dont think I will ever forget it. There was all kinds of dancing on stage and beautiful music. They were cooking a very large hog that smelt so amazing I can still remember it as I think about it now. There were stands set up everywhere selling all kinds of goods and suvioners. My sister got a wooden coconut bra and and a grass skirt and I got a ukulele that was hand made with a coconut and a wooden handle. It also had thick plastic strings. It was totally out of tune but I loved it. We also got these hand made bracelets that was a plastic string that had all these wooden sphere beads on them that had painted flowers on them. This one lady gave my sister and I both a free bracelet. I was really disapointed because I brought it to school one day and I lost it at recess! :(
After we got all our goods at the stands the dinner was ready. The roasted pork that we ate was amazingly tender and delicious and tasted even better than it smelled.
One time, we went on a public boat ride where they would serve you dinner and take you to go snorkeling. They took us to a beautiful place near an island. I remeber on the way, we rode around this one island and the mountain side had all these wild goats. Anyway, we reached the spot and went snorkeling around and had a blast looking at all the beautiful and breathtaking variety of fish. My sister and I saw a puffer fish and she blew up her cheeks at it and it blew up too. I remember that I couldn't stop laughing and I had a blast.
Our trip to Hawaii was great and I want to go again someday! I cant wait until that day comes!

I'm Jealous of My Sister!
Well I hade a fabulous break! I spent time with my best friend Mindy and I absolutley love her. She is so much fun!
Anyways, back to the topic. I am really jealous of my sister and how much fun activities she gets to do. She is on the cheer competition team that is in Bountiful called Cheerz. She is a level four and is quite amazing. I am proud of her and all her talent, but Cheerz costs 1000s and 1000s of dollars! When school got out for Christmas Break, Christen got to go to Las Vegas with her cheer team! The did all these competitions and had a blast. She also had extra money and while I spent my money on a $25 dollar Christmas Present for her from here she spent her extra money on an adorable sweater from Las Vegas! I had to stay in boring old Utah!
She is a Sophmore and is in a Debate class. As I am typing she is on another trip in CALIFORNIA with her debate team. She might even get to visit my Stepbrother, neice, and nephew that we haven't seen for two or three years. I am dying to see them again! I wish I could be there! Her team also gets to go to Disneyland!! I absolutley love roller coasters more than anything in the world! Here I am in UTAH, the dull state as I like to call it, where nothing what-so-ever happens! This trip cost 500 big bucks!
I know that I probably sound like a winey brat, but i havent been out of this state since the begging of the summer when we went to Colarado! My sister always says that our parents always side with me, treat me like an angel, and spoil me! Who is going to agree with that now?!?

Christmas and Gifts
Christmas is coming and everybody is exited!!
Now a lot of people have different beliefs of what they think Christmas is all about.
Some people don't even celebrate it because they are jewish (yay hanukkah !), atheist, or just don't want to bother. I think it is a time of giving and celebration of the birth of Christ. My sister, however, doesn't go really into detail about giving presents for any celebration, but she does expect to recieve her own. This bothers me like no other! One year, I got her a thirty dollar video game for her birthday, and some candy and another video game for her for Christmas, and she got me..........
NOTHING!
Seriously she could of at least got me a tissue box or something. I wouldn't of cared how cheap she was (I guess she is so cheap she wont get me anything) as long as she got me something.
So when she missed my birthday over the summer, I thought... oh well maybe she will get me something nice for Christmas. Her name has the word "Christ" in it and that Christmas I was disapointed once again! Well last year, I felt a little better until I found out that my mom bought Christen's gift of mine for her! My mom told me the story: I got Christen a gift with my EARNED MONEY and my mom had to drag her out of the house to go to the store and pick out some cheap mascara for my Christmas present. I feel sooo special.
Ohh well it looks like I just have to deal with my problem with my sister. I bet I am not the only one with a sibling that loves getting gifts and hates giving them. Every year I will keep spreading my holiday gifts and cheer and I wont be so disapointed when my sister opens the gift I got her for Christmas this year and I dont have something to open in the time being. Well If you are reading this Christen..... HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Sasha!
I had a precious cat named Sasha in which I loved her very much and here is her story.
Lets first start with my history of cats; my favorite animals. They are so cute, soft, and loveable! Well It all started when we were back in Kentucky (where I was born) and one of my mom's friends had a delighful little cat named Sasha. When we were about two and three, we used to go over to her house all the time to play with her cat. Then, my mother's friend got pregnant. Even though I didn't understand at the time, her husband was very exited about the child as was she and they didn't have enough money to take care of her cat that she loved so dearly. So when I was in my living room watching some morining cartoons, the doorbell rang. I ran to answer the door and I remember I had difficulty reaching the door knob. When I opened the door, I saw my moms friend crying with the skinny cat in her hands as she asked for my mother. I went and got my mom and the cat then belonged to us.
Well Polo didn't really know what Sasha was when he first saw her. She hissed and him and hit her claw at his face when he played around with her. He loved to play when she was a serious little cat. There was a strange thing happening with Sasha. After we would let her in from the backyard in the evening she would come in soaking wet and angry and we never knew why. Then, one day, my mom got the news from the neighbors. They had seen Polo pick Sasha up with his mouth and swing her around the yard without hurting her! No wonder he hated her so much.
Sasha got pregnant herself and had a litter of kittens.
I am sorry to say that being only 2 and 3 years of age, Christen and I were abusive little children who loved the kittens and used them at literal barbies. I don't really remember this myself, but my mom told me that she was in the basement and heard quiet meows, several thumping sounds, then the loud laughter of two mischevious children. When she ran to come and see what had happened, she found that Christen and I had taken two of the kittens, put them in a barbie car, and pushed it down the stairs!!! How sad is that! The poor kittens survived, but after my mom found out that we had done this incident more that once and that one of the kittens paws were injured, she knew she had to find all the kittens a better home. Sasha loved her kittens very much and when I got older, I could see how she still missed them in the way she acted.
When I was five, we moved to Utah and Sasha got used to our new home. As the years went by I loved her very much and treated her a lot more nicely that before and began to love her like a sister. I went through the years getting used to her being a part of my life. Well, as you know how I said earlier, Polo used to toss Sasha around the yard in her mouth and she hated him for that. Once, when he was in the backyard rough housing with my sister, Sasha got her revenge. She jumped on top of Polo and dug into his back with her nails! He stayed yelping around the backyard for four to five hours the poor thing. He never messed with her again
Then, When i was in 3rd, or 4th grade, we got a dalmation puppy named, Dutchess. She was an agressive girl and I am afraid to say ruined Sasha's life. Somehow, Dutchess bit Sasha near her eye and her tooth got stuck in her skin. We got rid of Dutchess soon after. The Vet did surgery on Sasha, but she lost her left eye in the process. I took her for show and tell in fourth grade giving her the title, "Sasha, my one-eyed kitty."
With age, Sasha became blind in her other eye as well. We found her in corners around the house crying. It was a sad sight, but we still treated her with love and care. One day I came home from school when my parents had bad news. Sasha had taken a nap on our couch and her heart had stopped beating. My sister and I shead a few tears, but we were happy that she was in a better place. We burried her in the backyard and planted a pear tree on top of her grave. Those pears would grow every year, beautiful and sweet like Sasha was.

Italy!
I want to travel to Italy when I get older. Ever scince I did my World's Fair on it in sixth grade, I have been dying to go! I want to go see the amazing views, I want to go eat what italians eat! I want to go expirience what there is to expirience! When I get enough money, I am going to hop on a plane and drive over there as soon as possible, stay at a really nice hotel, flirt with some hot italian guys, and live the luxury!!! After reading this passage, you might think I am living in a fantasy world. I mean, just getting a plane ticket these days is really expensive, but I promise myself and you that before I die I will have visited Italy at least once. I want to go to the Rome Coliseum, Sicily, Rome itself, Venice, Florance, and Sardina.
I want to eat italian meatballs and spagetti.
I want to eat thier famous and my favorite dessert known as turimusu.
I want to eat creamy and delightful gelato.
I want to see its famout attrations and fountains.
I want to visit The Uffizi Gallery in Florance and observe all the amazing works of art.
I want to explore a Botanical Garden in Italy.
As you can see, even though I am just a kid, I have a lot of goals for my future exploration to Italy. I want to accomplish them badly and I wont let myself down. When I am all old and resting in the rocking chair in my old living room, I will reflect on the amazing trip that I enjoyed in Italy and I will cherish that memory forever even though it has not occured yet, I have hope that it will.
