Why does everyone have to criticize every, single thing? Why can't anyone go through a day without thinking a thought about something or someone, that can be negative or positive, when they don't even know the person?
Have you ever heard the expression, "Don't judge a book by its cover?" Everybody does!
When I was in sixth grade, there was this girl in my class (I will not menchion any names). She was slightly overweight and had a lazy eye. She didn't have much friends so my friends and I became her friend. She was really actually nice. Everyone always said all this cruel stuff about her behind her back and made up all these rumors about her when she was a good person. They didn't even know who she was. Some of them didn't even know her name. They still criticized her by the way she looked.
Sometimes there are people in this world that are generally good people, but are not the most gorgeus people in this world. Just because of that, they are criticized and made fun of when they could be the most awesome person in the world to be with.
Here is another example: I have this friend who has black hair, wears eye liner, ect. Everyone who doesn't know her, thinks she is scary somewhat. Let me tell you... She is awesome! She is such a good friend and so much fun to be around. Almost everyone that actually knows her loves her.
Sometimes, people are not critized by thier looks, but just by one small action that they did. Lets say someone got into a fight and you heard someones side of the story but not the other side. If you are friends with that one person, then you are most likely to think of the other person the way they described them to you. You will start to think of all these conclusions about the other person and how horrible they are. They could be really nice after you actually get to know them. You have no clue what that person is like if you just hear who they are thought through another persons eyes.
The thing is, I am not the innocent person in this issue. I criticize myself. Like I said before, everyone does! You might not shout it out, or be the person that spread all the rumors, but in the back of your mind when someone does or says something, you are criticizing them! I do it myself. I will even show you when I do it! My friend has an enemy and they hate each other for various reasons. She told me all the stories and I can see why she feels what she feels from what she has told me. I don't really like that girl even though I haven't even had a steady conversation with her.
So I don't really even know my point here. Alll I am saying is that everyone criticizes and it isn't a good thing. How about we all set a goal here. Try not to say bad things about people because you might not know their side of the story.

WINTER and its miseries
You walk outside.... Your fingers are revealed to the temperature around you. It goes up your arms, down your legs to your toes, and then it touches the tip of your nose and ears and spreads across your face. Your teeth start to chatter. Your legs start to shake. Your breath is a mist in the foggy air. Everywhere you look is white, White, and more WHITE! I am sick of the winter! Spring needs to come...SOON!
Winter can be fun....at times. I love winter for the first week! You can go sledding or skiing or snowboarding or skating. You get to watch amazing shows on television about famous atheletes doing what they do best: winter sports. You get to wear you adorable sweaters that you just bought with your fuzzy boots and coats. Its all fun...at first!
After a while I start to notice these things happening...
The heater in my house barley works so when I get out of the nice, warm shower in the morning, I am curled up into a little ball trying to warm myself and take away the pircing cold of the winter.
I walk outside hurrying as fast as I can to the blue subaru when I slip of the hard ice. "Thats just great!" I think to myself. "Now I will have a bruise for the next week!"
Then...If your sister has the sudden urge to laugh at your pain, she can do it in less that five seconds. She runs. She jumps! A flash of pain goes though my back preventing me from standing up straight. I slip once again and I am soon laying face down in the snow. My sister, Christen is on top of my back. She is rubbing more and more snow in my face laughing her high, ear drum breaking laugh as I plead her, "GET OFF!!!"
Winter needs to torture me no longer! I need warmth! I want to be able to wear my tank-tops and my short-shorts! I want to go swimming in the cool water in the hot sun! I need to turn my pale body into the old perfect tan I miss! I know I'm crying like a baby! I will do anything (except wait a few more months). I want it to be so hot outside that I can cook an egg on my front porch!
Why can't mother nature make it warm outside? All she needs to do is take her amazing, magical wand and...POOF! Summer is here! Or spring... I really don't care as long as it isn't a cold miseable **** outside.
PLEASE...I BEG OF YOU....DO IT FOR US MORE UNFORTUNATE ONES!

The best water park in the world
There I lay just like every other day in the summer watching some television. It was hot, as usual. I just happened to be watching a program on water parks. This particular show was talking about the two Schlitterbahn Family water parks. One was in San Antonio and the other in Brownsville, Texas. It looked like so much fun as I sat there in the sizzling house....
I ran to my mother and she came and watched the rest of the Program with me.
She agreed that I could go to Texas for my ninth birthday that was just three months awayto visit the inchanting park .
The week came and my birthday was very near. We packed up the car. Unfortunatley, we were going to have to drive seventeen hundred miles in the steaming hot subaru. I bet you can just imagine all the fun we had on that jouney! The hours came and went eventually, and we reached Texas.
I waited and waited for the twelveth to come so we could visit Schlitterbahn. The day arrived.
We bought our tickets and my sister and I could hardly keep still. We were practically jumping up and down with excitement. We purchased some tubes and walked into the water. The lines for the rides were in the water and there was a current that would take you to the different slides. We rode all of them many times. The most unique thing about this park and what makes it the best in the world is that the Schlitterbahn water parks were the only ones at the time that the water slides shoot you up as much as they do down (I dont know if they are still currently the only parks with this feature). My sister and I had a double tube and we went to the highest slide. We zoomed down it and were screaming and laughing the whole way as water splashed up in our faces. Then there was a tilt that was going upward and there was water that was shooting upward with the curve of the slide. It shot us up as quickly as we went down. I had an amazing sensation in my stomach such as the one you get when you ride a dangerous roller coaster. I never think I had as much fun that day then ever before.
After we had been playing for hours, we all knew it was time to leave. My dad bought us some Dip n' Dots that we enjoyed when we were about to head out the door. Then, we saw a suvaneer shop. We all went in together to buy some shirts that we could bring back home. I remember getting a large, purple shirt with three cartoon drawn hawaiin girls wearing grass skirts and coconut bras. It said in large letters, "Schlitterbahn." I also got another shirt with a green, blue, and purple turtle on the front. I loved these shirts and when we got back to Utah, I wore them quite often to school.
I will never forget our fun adventure to Texas and I hope I can go again some day regardless of the high temperatures! :)

GO NINJA
I don't know about you, but i love Ninjas! I am going to tell you a story of how it all started..
Last summer, my friend Kelsey practically lived at my house we were so close. We would do everything together!
My house lives on a hill and the backyard is at a total slant. There is a fence cutting off the ancore long back yard that is so steep it is almost vertical. Another thing about my backyard is that it is covered with trees, bugs, and plants. There is only one opening to go to the back yard.
Kelsey and I decided to go into my backyard to explore. We walked up and down the hill with great difficultly but we still had a good time. As we were walking up the hill, Kelsey saw something in the corner of her eye. "Look its a rope!" I quickly turned my head. There was a rope tied to the top of the fence. She started walking up the steep hill towards it. Kelsey grabbed a hold of it and started climbing up the hill and quicklly hopped the fence. I was amazed how well and fast she did it! I yelled, "Kelsey you are a ******* NINJA!" She started laughing and soon I joined in. "Go Ninja! Go Ninja! Go!" she chanted. I followed her and repeated her same movements but without as much perfection. We walked into the house chanting it together and thats where it all began.
Kelsey and I decided that day that we wanted to continue being ninjas. She had once showed me this Mcdonalds' Rap on Youtube and we both had it memorized. Why not make up a ninja dance to that? We started that day making up a routine while changing some of the words in the rap to improve it and make it more ninja style. By the end of that day when we had it perfected and memorized, my sister 15 year old sister Christen got home from work. We exitedly showed her our routine. She looked at us and said, "You guys are losers." We all laughed together. Kelsey and I both knew she was just jealous of our ninja moves! :)

Emma!
The cell phone rang repeatedly as I ran to answer. I heard a familiar and unique laugh on the other end. It was the unmistakable Emma! She started her story. Was she or was she not coming over this weekend to stay at my house while her dad was in Connecticut? I ran up the stairs to find one of my parents. “Of course she can!” my father said in his deep and creepy voice. I raced back down the stairs to my phone trying not to stumble over my larger then normal feet. I responded to her questions and she gave me another series of her laugh with delight. Emma would be staying at my house all weekend!
I got yet another call on my phone telling me to come outside. I ran out on the wet sidewalk in my bare feet to greet her. A large grin lay in front of me belonging to Mr. Perkins who was helping Emma get her baggage. Our eyes met and she gave me one of what she calls her, “God given talents.” She scrunched up her face in such a way no one can describe or repeat (trust me I have tried)! I giggle and give her a hug. While our parents are talking, Emma runs to greet my sister and gives her the same face expression she gave me. I showed her my room and how it has changed since she was here last. We both jumped on my brand new queen size bed. We looked at each other and knew that this weekend was going to be a never ending disaster of fun!
We both turned on our Nintendo DS and started a game against each other. This is where things started to get intense... We stared screaming at each other and laughing so hard that we couldn’t breathe. In the game, whoever got ten stars first would win, or if you lost all five lives the other person would automatically win. There were things to prevent you from winning so easily of course. You could steal stars from the other person with fireballs or if you died you would lose a star. This game is seriously addicting and I think it could easily lead to a fight. For example, Emma got so pissed that I was winning her so much, she screamed at me from the other room and said, “This is enough!” (I edited what she said and made it more appropriate) She ran into my room screaming at me, jumped on my bed, and tackled me! It was mega funny and terrifying all at the same time!

Hawaii
In fourth grade, I went to Hawaii on a vacation and if I remember correctly it was around spring break and we went for two weeks.
On the plane ride there, I remember eating really, really good ginger ale and lasagna. I was surprised how good airplane food was to me. I couldn't get enought of it! The plane we were on was really nice and I loved looking out the window and watching the ocean.
We went to Kauai on this trip and it was amazingly beautiful there. We stayed at a little hotel right near the beach so we could go anytime we wanted to. We went to a luau one night and I dont think I will ever forget it. There was all kinds of dancing on stage and beautiful music. They were cooking a very large hog that smelt so amazing I can still remember it as I think about it now. There were stands set up everywhere selling all kinds of goods and suvioners. My sister got a wooden coconut bra and and a grass skirt and I got a ukulele that was hand made with a coconut and a wooden handle. It also had thick plastic strings. It was totally out of tune but I loved it. We also got these hand made bracelets that was a plastic string that had all these wooden sphere beads on them that had painted flowers on them. This one lady gave my sister and I both a free bracelet. I was really disapointed because I brought it to school one day and I lost it at recess! :(
After we got all our goods at the stands the dinner was ready. The roasted pork that we ate was amazingly tender and delicious and tasted even better than it smelled.
One time, we went on a public boat ride where they would serve you dinner and take you to go snorkeling. They took us to a beautiful place near an island. I remeber on the way, we rode around this one island and the mountain side had all these wild goats. Anyway, we reached the spot and went snorkeling around and had a blast looking at all the beautiful and breathtaking variety of fish. My sister and I saw a puffer fish and she blew up her cheeks at it and it blew up too. I remember that I couldn't stop laughing and I had a blast.
Our trip to Hawaii was great and I want to go again someday! I cant wait until that day comes!

I'm Jealous of My Sister!
Well I hade a fabulous break! I spent time with my best friend Mindy and I absolutley love her. She is so much fun!
Anyways, back to the topic. I am really jealous of my sister and how much fun activities she gets to do. She is on the cheer competition team that is in Bountiful called Cheerz. She is a level four and is quite amazing. I am proud of her and all her talent, but Cheerz costs 1000s and 1000s of dollars! When school got out for Christmas Break, Christen got to go to Las Vegas with her cheer team! The did all these competitions and had a blast. She also had extra money and while I spent my money on a $25 dollar Christmas Present for her from here she spent her extra money on an adorable sweater from Las Vegas! I had to stay in boring old Utah!
She is a Sophmore and is in a Debate class. As I am typing she is on another trip in CALIFORNIA with her debate team. She might even get to visit my Stepbrother, neice, and nephew that we haven't seen for two or three years. I am dying to see them again! I wish I could be there! Her team also gets to go to Disneyland!! I absolutley love roller coasters more than anything in the world! Here I am in UTAH, the dull state as I like to call it, where nothing what-so-ever happens! This trip cost 500 big bucks!
I know that I probably sound like a winey brat, but i havent been out of this state since the begging of the summer when we went to Colarado! My sister always says that our parents always side with me, treat me like an angel, and spoil me! Who is going to agree with that now?!?
